Stress Analysis Software Prof. Ed

This directory is available to review and download Psa's Structural Analysis software (Professional Version).

This Structural Analysis software Package is sized for the medium size engineering consulting firm. The size limitations of the educational version has been expanded for larger models. In addition, the stress Analysis package uses the PolyTechWriter to automatically create engineering reports which are then coupled with the PolyTechReader for display, printing, or e-mailing your clients.

This package includes the PolyTechWriter's scripting capabilities, built within the program, used to creates reports of model results. These reports may be edited and sent, via the Internet, to your clients. A license to distribute the PolyTechReader to your client is also included within this package.

The matrix method used as the solution technique for these models require the model's node geometry, the structural element properties, and load definitions. Examples and help files are provided as a guide to building these models. PolyTechnic SoftWare Associates will provide reasonable help in reviewing models.

We suggest you first create an empty directory on your computer such as "C:\Temp". Then download the [psammsap.exe] file into that directory. This file is archived with WinZip and WinZip Self-Extractor. It is an executable [exe] file which automatically install upon being run.

Use the normal Window's Program Menu of START...RUN to execute the file or double click the executable file in the C:\Temp directory within Window's Explorer.

Upon installation an INSTALLATION CODE will be provided. E-mail this INSTALLATION CODE to Psa at slarsen@poly-soft.com and the UNLOCKING CODE will be provided.
